WHEN LIFE BENDS FOR DEATH

July 17, 2014 - Amsterdam - Kuala Lumpur flight MH17 sadly ended up in a Ukrain wheat field after it was hit by a buk surface-to-air missile during the Krim conflict. The Boeing 777-200ER of Malaysia Airlines exploded in mid air at cruising altitude, killing 198 innocent people. This art piece is a tribute to commemorate the victims and their relatives. It is a complain to the military who fired the missile. The painting shows the rudder wing in a yellow sun ripened wheat field with a blue sky, symbolizing the Ukrain flag. The crows and wheat field point to Vincent van Gogh's last painting "Rye field with crows", which he painted in France, where he died later.
