MAASTRICHT MONUMENT VALLEY

ENCI, Eerste Nederlandse Cement Industrie (First Dutch Cement Industry) in Maastricht with its marlstone mine pit ceased operations in 2020 after almost more than a century of cement producing. The mine pit is transformed to a nature park for visitors. It is the only place in the Netherlands where the Uhu-owl resides.
